This manual tobacco cutter offers an easy way to break down your whole leaf tobacco into a rollable format. The cutter has ridged cutting blades that pull the leaf down the cutting heads. The unique design of the cutter does most of the work for you! This device is an affordable and effective alternative to the electric Powermatic Electric Tobacco Shredder.
- This tobacco cutter is recommended for use with our selection of whole leaf tobacco.
- Popular leaf for shredding is un-cut Virginia Flue Cured or un-cut Burley leaves.
- This tobacco cutter / shredder will produce strands around 2mm.
- You may need to run leaves through this tobacco cutter a couple of times to get your desired consistency. Most tobacco cutters are like this. However, once you acclimate yourself to the shredder you will easily produce the perfect ‘roll your own’ tobacco to suit your taste.
Important Product Note: To extend the longevity of the tobacco cutter, be sure to de-stem the main vein before shredding the leaf. Be sure that your tobacco leaf is not too moist, as to gum up the grooves of the cutter. The leaf should be as dry as possible, without being so dry that it crumbles. Clean or rinse your shredder before use, to make sure there is no debris that could get in the way.
