Our Aged Honduran Conerico Wrappers are medium in color and strength of smell. This leaf has thin veins, with leaves that are just large enough to be very easy to roll with!
These Honduran Conerico Wrapper Leaves are grown from seed in the Jamastran valley, of the ‘El Paraiso’ Region of Honduras. This region of the Honduras is highly regarded for their premium cigar tobacco, thanks to their climate and soil making it the ideal place to grow both Cuban and Connecticut seed tobacco.
Conerico is translated as “Connecticut” seed. This is the main type of tobacco grown in the Jamastran Valley. They use nutrient enriched soil to grow a superior tobacco leaf product, similar to the soil found in Cuban tobacco farms.
Because of this it really isn’t a surprise that various premium cigar companies own real estate in the Honduras region. [Punch, Davidoff, and Camacho are just a few among many well known companies to produce cigars within the region.]
